Sans Souci - Weekend R1000 / Weekly R2000 - sleeps 10 -12

Far Side - R250 per night - sleeps 2

Serviced accommodation and event venue, on the best spot of the beautiful Kaaimans River, located between George and Wilderness, adjacent to the N2. We are offering a totally unique getaway experience. A place where access to the house is by boat only, and where the atmosphere changes with the tides every six hours. We will transport you across the river in a rowboat, and you remain close to nature at all times. This place is ideal for families and those with an outdoorsy adventurous spirit!

  

2 accomodation options:

• “Sans Souci” : the main house – has been our family’s beach house for the last 100 years, recently renovated. 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a spacious loft sleeps 4 (single beds) with its own wooden deck boasting 180 degree views of the river. Kitchen with gas stove and fridge, large lounge with TV. Waterfall annexe” : 2 bedrooms, separate from main house, 1 double bed, 2 single beds. Includes use of main house kitchen facilities.
  
  
  
  
• “Far Side Honeymoon Suite” : free-standing unit, secluded from the main house, fantastic river and ocean view. Ensuite bathroom, simple cooking facilities and small fridge. Sleeps 2 (one double bed).
  
  
  
  

All options have access to a communal outdoor braai and a huge wooden deck. Eco-friendly, with no Eskom electricity or municipal water. We are powered by generator and solar power in the evenings, water is supplied from rain water tanks.

At Kaaimans Kaya, you can have a relaxing weekend at one with nature, or a big “kuier” with as many friends as you can muster! Knowledge and Francis live next to the house and are there to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
